Doctoral studies represent the third and highest level of university studies. The doctoral study program is focused on scientific research and independent creative activity in the field of research or development. The Electrical Engineering and Information Technology doctoral study program is conducted in full-time and combined form. Studying in the doctoral study program takes place according to an individual study plan under the guidance of a supervisor. The standard period of study is 4 years. Graduates of doctoral studies are prepared to handle the most demanding tasks of applied science and practice.

• We cooperate with leading companies in the field of industrial and consumer electronics. We work on specific research and innovation projects that have real applications in industry and services. The students of the doctoral study program participate in these projects and achieve excellent results.
• One of the possibilities is access to the unique research infrastructure within the projects at CERN, where development work is underway on electronics for detector systems and on superfast amplifiers for diamond detectors. We are involved in the solution team of the TOTEM experiment and we also participate substantially in the ATLAS experiment.
