InformaTION for students

Project-oriented teaching

Within the taught subjects, we try to support students' independent activity. It is possible to implement parts of one's own projects if thematically related to the taught material (primarily within practically oriented exercises). E.g. in the subject Power supplies and systems, students will design, manufacture and verify the construction of a power supply.

A special group of subjects is the series of Development work on projects (VPP1-8), which are purely practically oriented and students can work entirely on their projects with the support of both experienced teachers and tools and resources in the department's specialized laboratories.

As part of the support for student projects, the following is available:

  • prototype production of printed circuit boards in the form of a 2D milling machine
  • the possibility of creating structural parts using a 3D printer
  • in special cases, support for mounting "complex" circuit cases (e.g. BGA)

Cooperation on KEI department projects

Take a look at our projects and if you would like to work with us on some of them or if you have an idea for an interesting project in our area, do not hesitate to contact us. You can also enroll in the above-mentioned subjects VPP1 to VPP8 (Development work on projects), in which you will receive credits for cooperation on projects in addition to a scholarship.
